19 tips and tricks about the thermomix recipe

  • Use ripe fruits to get a more intense flavor in your panna cotta.
  • For a smoother texture, you can blend peaches and nectarines in a blender before adding them to the panna cotta.
  • Add some lemon juice to the fruits to prevent them from oxidizing and to add a touch of acidity.
  • For a lighter variation, replace some of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.
  • If you want a more fragrant panna cotta, you can infuse the cream with mint leaves, lavender, or cardamom.
  • For a contrast in texture, add fresh fruit pieces on top of the panna cotta before serving.
  • For a more indulgent dessert, you can add a layer of fruit coulis (such as raspberry or mango) between two layers of panna cotta.
  • If you want to easily unmold the panna cotta, lightly oil the ramekins before pouring the mixture.
  • For a crunchy touch, sprinkle crushed pistachios, almonds, or caramelized nuts on top of the panna cotta before serving.
  • If you want to add an extra sweet note, sprinkle some brown sugar or cane sugar on top of the panna cotta and caramelize it with a kitchen torch.
  • Using a chocolate sauce instead of peach-nectarine coulis will give you excellent chocolate thermomix panna cotta. It's delicious.
  • Gelatin can be easily replaced by 1 to 2g of agar-agar (1 teaspoon). If using gelatin sheets, immerse them one by one to prevent sticking.
  • If you want a lighter panna cotta, mix 250g of milk with 250g of light cream instead of 500g of heavy cream. You will get a light dessert.
  • Instead of serving the panna cotta in glasses or ramekins, you can put it in a larger dish. In this case, use a bit more gelatin or agar-agar.
  • Panna cotta allows for endless creativity. Try other flavors and fruits like raspberry panna cotta, strawberry coulis panna cotta, mango panna cotta, etc. Fruits like apple, kiwi, etc. pair well with panna cotta. Red fruit coulis works perfectly too. Mix some fruit pieces into the panna cotta coulis. Use vanilla bean, lemon juice, coconut, white chocolate, coconut milk, mascarpone, Carambar candy, strawberry Tagada candy, caramel, passion fruit, caramel, flavored syrup like agave syrup, almond cream, vanilla sugar, etc. Let your imagination run wild.
  • Flavors like orange blossom, vanilla, and infusions such as red fruits are perfect for the thermomix panna cotta recipe.
  • You can serve delicious panna cotta with jam, cookies (crushed speculoos, for example).
  • Among all my no-bake recipes, this is a really simple and quick yet indulgent thermomix recipe. It's very convenient for cooking a quick snack or dessert for last-minute guests since there's no need to bake.
